Setting up Your
Kiln for flameworking.
bottom of a kiln gets hot. To keep your table surface from getting
hot, you need to place your kiln on something. We have insulated
fire brick feet but you could use red brick or anything similar.
Spread apart for maxium stability.
Set the base on the feet.
Set Bead Extension on base.
kiln may overhang the base slightly.
you ordered your kiln with a built in bead rack, you can move
the rack to one of two different locations. Some people like
to put their beads far into the kiln or some do not like to reach
to far into the kiln.
Simply move the bead rack to a different slot.
Set heating section on bead extension
lid on top.
If your kiln has a peep hole, insert a peephole plug.
