Face Shield

Blocks 90% or more of the heat! Up to 80 degrees F cooler behind the shield.

  • Protects your face from hours of radiant heats.
  • Helps prevent sunburn and drying of skin.
  • Helps protect you from UV (Ultraviolet Light).
  • Protects your face from flying chips of hot glass.
  • Large enough to protect your face but small enough to not get in the way.
  • Most models tilt and is adjustable - even tilts completely away when needed.

  • Clear Glass - 4" x 7"
  • Dark Shade 5 -
  • Darker Shade 6 -

Use the dark shaded glass when you need to set the torch to a hot setting which makes the light so bright it is difficult to see. For instance when you fume with gold or silver. Shield moves foward or back and out of the way when not needed on most torches. Specify torch. Major burner torch shown in picture
Shade 6 is darker, remember always still use proper safety glasses.
This shield is available for most torches, Major Burner torch is pictured below.

Glass will break from the heat of the flame if you push the glass to far foward.
If it does break, glass is replaceable.

Notice how the shield can be rotated.

Do not use the forward position as shown in above picture. The glass will get to hot causing possible breakage, which will void the warranty.
