How To Make Silver Art Clay

Wow! - Work with a special clay.
Mold this clay into any shape. Fire this clay in a kiln and magically
the clay turns into solid silver!
Step 1: Take out enough Art Clay Silver to form your piece. Roll out the clay to 1mm thickness for a sturdy pendant/charm
Step 2: Place the Art Clay Silver around a glass cabochon and add a bail (loop to hang the piece) made from Art Clay Silver. Or roll into a flat pendant shape. Make a textured impression with a rubber stamp or any found texture, and pierce a hole at the top of the pendant/charm in which to place a jumpring to hang off of your neck chain.
Step 3: Sand off any unwanted jagged edges or sand the surface for a smoother finish. The more finish sanding you do now, will result in a better appearance after firing.
Step 4: Fire your piece either in a kiln or with a butane torch. Kiln firing is a must if using glass in your creation. Art Clay Silver alone can be fired using a torch.
Step 5: Polish your fired piece with a stainless steel brush and sandpaper to bring out the shiny finished fine silver.
